Double the fun...

Here's post #2...to let you know that I am now published on two blogs. 'Cause now that I am blogging, I can't be contained in just one! I submitted my first entry to Sandy Steen Bartholomew's Zentangle for Kidz website this evening: read it here at ZTforkids.com. :-)

Check it out. I've even shared a new tangle there! Original design, based on an experience in my classroom. Don'tcha wanna know what Pweeko looks like?

As an art teacher, I've been eager to contribute to this kid-focused blog of Sandy's since before it was up-an-running. But I was waiting 'til just the right time to jump in, of course. Splash! Of course, who knew that my first post would be all about inspiration found in a potato, the most humble of vegetables.

You've just got to be curious! Go check it out! And Happy November! Where, oh where did October go? And how did it get there so fast???

For all of you image junkies--you know who you are! You know you came here to see some sort of design, not just a bunch of words!--I don't want your visit to be lacking, so here's a tangle I did sometime last spring or summer. Silly me didn't date it. I'm thinking of calling it "Crowning Glory."

  1. I love Pweeko! I found it through twitter when Molossus linked to it. I think it is a really fun tangle and saved the instructions on my iPod. It is now on my "list"! Thank you for it. I must admit, it is really exciting when you come across a tangle you designed and it's used by someone else. :)
